Pet Friendly in Virginia Beach

For many travelers, going on vacation leaves them with a difficult choice to make. They can leave them behind, and have to factor the cost of kenneling their pet while they are gone, or they can take their pets along with them. Here are some tips and things to keep in mind when looking to find the right place to stay for you and your family when traveling to the Hampton Roads.

Pet Friendly in Virginia Beach

Why Choose a Pet-Friendly Hotel over a Rental in Virginia Beach?

Often travelers find it easier to stay at a rental they arranged, which gives them the opportunity to stay in a home rental unit near the beach. While this may make sense for many travelers, there are unexpected or over-looked conditions involved when booking these units.

Convenience and Access

All of the Virginia Beach Hotels mentioned below are either directly on the beach with their own access to the Virginia Beach Boardwalk or steps away from top Virginia Beach attractions

Reduce Unexpected  Expenses

Rentals include expensive deposits to bring your dog of which you may or not get back any of it back. Plus, once you get to the rental you have to spend time sticking the refrigerator and cooler with food goods to feed your family. Several of our hotels mentioned below include complimentary breakfasts for all guests, so there is one meal a day you need not worry about. Several also provide evening receptions with light snacks and cocktails for guests. While they may not fill you up, they can help you cut down on your snack bill and vacation bar tab.

Flexible Rental Policies

As rentals are often private homes, there are often rules and restrictions associated with how long you can stay, when you can book, what happens if you leave early, etc. By working with one of the national brands, you are working with a renter who is known, trusted and has much greater flexibility in how they can work with you to make the insure your total satisfaction.

Safety and Parking

It is safe to assume that Virginia Beach rentals are all safe, and have adequate security and parking to protect guests. However, as hotels have to accommodate many more guests on a regular basis, you can know they have greater availability of security and parking for you.

Virginia Beach Rentals Can Not Reward You

It is often overlooked when making a purchase decision for a rental versus a hotel, but your vacation rental has the potential to give you something back when you work with one of the national brands. Marriott, Hilton, Westin, Sheraton, and Holiday Inn all have frequent traveler programs that allow you top accrue points for each dollar spent at their hotel. Booking your Virginia Beach vacation at a hotel instead of a beach rental, allows you to earn points that can be applied towards future vacations, whether it is next year in Virginia Beach or the holidays oversees. This vacation can eventually earn you a free vacation somewhere else. A definite plus when comparing your choices for Virginia Beach accommodations and rentals.
