Hampton Roads Hotel is High on Puppy Love

Where some hotels try to hide that they accept pets, or discourage the bringing of pets along on your vacation, the TownePlace Suites Suffolk Chesapeake Hotel in Chesapeake has found a way to let everyone know that they love dogs and welcome all shapes and sizes at their dog friendly hotel. They recently created a veritable canine Wall of Fame. Now, whenever guests bring their pets along on vacation, the hotel takes a photo of the four legged guest and displays his photo and name on their name. Along with being very fun for the owners, this has also proven to be useful for the other guests as well. In either assisting with the canine networking or alerting any allergy sensative guests to  the presence of a dog around the hotel, many appreciate knowing more about who their neighbors are during their stay.

The TownePlace Suites Suffolk has been a pet friendly hotel since it opened its doors in 2008.  What may be a difficult decision for some hoteliers to weigh, the choice to welcome pets simply was a no brainer for this hotel located in Northern Suffolk, being a common layover point for travelers on their way south to Nag’s Head and other resort destinations. The all suites hotel provides a home style setting to give you that “home away from home” experience. 

As so many people take their family dog along with them to their summer  rental, the TownePlace Suites offers a convenient location and a nice blend of amenities for everyone. There are three different types of suites: studio, one, and two bedrooms suites with separate living and sleeping areas and an equipped kitchen. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool or work out in the on-site fitness center. You can also enjoy the convenience of complimentary high-speed Internet access and a 24-hour guest laundry. Stretch the family dollar even further by using their barbecue and picnic area, and save on dining out.

With many great restaurants and attractions a short hop from the hotel, it seems this woudl be a good choice for you and Rover.
